During his tenure, Representative Price advocated for issues regarding national security, <br /> investment in education and infrastructure, housing and community development, gun violence <br /> prevention, campaign reform, among many others. Representative Price stepped down from office <br /> on December 31, 2022. He will be remembered as a leader and advocate for Orange County and <br /> the 4t" Congressional District who served with distinction and integrity. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no financial impact associated with this item. <br /> SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: There is no Orange County Social Justice Goal impact associated <br /> with this item. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: There is no Orange County Environmental Responsibility Goal <br /> impact associated with this item. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends the Board approve and authorize the Chair <br /> to sign the Resolution of Commendation for Representative David Price. <br />
