Similar Projects
RHA Health Services,
Burlington Facility Based Crisis Center
Burlington, NC
CPL was approached by RHA Health Services to assist
with planning and design efforts on a new 16-bed
Facility Based Crisis Center located in Burlington,
NC. The FBC is going to occupy three spec office
buildings totaling 20,000 square feet currently under
construction. The largest of the buildings will house
an Adult/Adolescent Urgent Care, support service
areas, and the 16-bed unit consisting of single and
double occupancy rooms. CPL worked closely with
the developer to ensure the building’s construction
type and structural systems would meet all applicable
codes for an I-2 occupancy, as well as all DHSR
licensure requirements.
The other buildings will provide outpatient counseling,
education, and an on-premise pharmacy. The campus
will serve as a hub to provide the needed behavioral
healthcare to the local community, while at the
same time reduce the burden put on local hospitals
emergency departments and law enforcement
agencies.
PROJECT DETAILS
Size: 20,000 sf
Completion Date: 2021 (Concept
Design only)
Construction Cost: $5,000,000 Est.
Design Team: A.
