20 <br /> B. Nondiscrimination Notice To Prospective Bidders <br /> The OCTS, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related nondiscrimination <br /> authorities, and Title 49 Code of Federal Regulations, Parts 21 and 26, hereby notifies all bidders that it <br /> will affirmatively insure that in any contact entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority and <br /> women business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation <br /> and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, age, creed, <br /> limited English proficiency, low-income, or disability in consideration for an award. <br /> Implementation <br /> • The nondiscrimination language above will be included in all solicitations for bids for <br /> work or material and proposals for negotiated agreements to assure interested firms <br /> that we provide equal opportunity and do not discriminate. <br /> • Outreach efforts will be made to minority and women-owned firms that work in <br /> requested fields and documented. <br /> • Unless specifically required under Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) or <br /> Affirmative Action programs, all contractors will be selected without regard to their race, <br /> color, national origin, or sex. <br /> • The nondiscrimination language above (with initials line) will be appended to any existing <br /> contracts, purchase orders, and agreements that do not include it, and initialed by the <br /> responsible official of the other organization. <br /> • The nondiscrimination language above (without initials line) will be incorporated as <br /> standard language before the signature page of our standard contracts, purchase <br /> orders, and agreements. <br /> • The Title VI Coordinator will review existing contracts to ensure the language has been <br /> added. <br /> 13 Page <br />
