3 <br /> Appropriated for this project: <br /> Current FY 2022-23 FY 2022-23 <br /> FY 2022-23 Amendment Revised <br /> Medicaid Maximization Project Expenditures $12,842,901 $11,086 $12,853,987 <br /> Total Costs $12,842,901 $11,086 $12,853,987 <br /> SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: The following Orange County Social Justice Goal is <br /> applicable to this item: <br /> • GOAL: ENSURE ECONOMIC SELF-SUFFICIENCY <br /> The creation and preservation of infrastructure, policies, programs and funding <br /> necessary for residents to provide shelter, food, clothing and medical care for <br /> themselves and their dependents. <br /> Animal Services <br /> 6. Animal Services has received $12,000 from Community Giving Fund donations for its Free- <br /> Roaming Cat Initiative. These funds will be used to provide activities to address the free- <br /> roaming cat issue within Orange County. This budget amendment provides for this <br /> appropriation in the General Fund. <br /> SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: There is no Orange County Social Justice Goal impact <br /> associated with this item. <br /> Housing Department <br /> 7. Continuum of Care — Rapid Rehousing: In the 2021 Continuum of Care competition, the <br /> U.S. Department of Housing and Urban (HUD) awarded Orange County $161,920 for the <br /> Rapid Re-housing program that provides financial assistance and case management for <br /> people exiting homelessness. These funds will support two existing time-limited Rapid Re- <br /> housing Case Managers. These funds will be appropriated in the Community Development <br /> Fund, and will create the following Grant Ordinance: <br /> Continuum of Care - Rapid Rehousing ($161,920) - Project#47477 <br /> Revenues for this project: <br /> Current FY 2022-23 FY 2022-23 <br /> FY 2022-23 Amendment Revised <br /> HUD Grant $0 $161,920 $161,920 <br /> Total Project Funding $0 $161,920 $161,920 <br /> Appropriated for this project: <br /> Current FY 2022-23 FY 2022-23 <br /> FY 2022-23 Amendment Revised <br /> Grant Expenditures $0 $161,920 $161,920 <br /> Total Costs $0 $161,920 $161,920 <br /> 8.
