The Board specifically discussed <br /> 8 Gayane Chambless for this position during the October 25, 2022 Work Session, but did not reach <br /> 9 consensus. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 Tara May introduced the item. <br /> 12 Chair Price said that earlier in the day Tara May sent an email regarding the length of <br /> 13 partial terms. <br /> 14 Tara May said that if someone is suggested for a one or two year term, after the partial <br /> 15 term expires, they are eligible for two further full terms, so they could potentially serve 7 or 8 years <br /> 16 total. She said the Board ultimately decides the expiration dates for each appointee. <br /> 17 Tara May clarified that the consent agenda item related to the Opioid Advisory Committee <br /> 18 was related to the addition of a representative from the Department on Aging to be designated by <br /> 19 the County Manager. <br /> 20 <br /> 21 A motion was made by Commissioner McKee to appoint Gayane Chambless for the <br /> 22 remaining At-Large/Flex position.
