She said that, according <br />to the advisory board policy, Saru Salvi would be eligible to serve on a second county advisory <br />board. <br /> Commissioner Bedford said the recommended applicant brings much needed diversity to <br />the board. <br /> Chair Price said her application said she served on the Affordable Housing Board. <br /> Commissioner Bedford said that Saru Salvi recently resigned from the Affordable Housing <br />Board. <br /> Tara May said that she did not have it in her records that Saru Salvi had resigned from <br />the Affordable Housing Board. She said she would look into the issue. She said that if Saru Salvi <br />was still on the Affordable Housing Board, the advisory board policy would allow for her to serve <br />on two boards. <br /> The Board agreed by consensus on the recommended applicant. <br /> <br />11. Board of Health – Appointment Discussion <br />The Board considered an appointment to the Board of Health. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Board of Health makes policy and is charged with protecting and promoting <br />public health in Orange County.
