14 <br /> <br />Slide #24 <br /> Chief Keith Hayes reviewed the information on the slide above. He said the cited law is hurting <br />when it comes to volunteers. He said this law will make a new volunteer wait. <br /> Chief Nasseri said the state passed a law that all volunteers must do a full fingerprint <br />background through the SBI and it is time consuming and there’s a delay. He said that they get <br />their finger prints and then it could be 8-10 weeks to get the information back.
