He said they expected a lot of issues and delays and <br /> 5 those are expected to continue. He said that in the first quarter, the medical supply costs are <br /> 6 already at 41% of budget due to inflation. <br /> 7 Chief Keith Hayes said they have ordered equipment ahead of time so hopefully there will <br /> 8 not be delays when their new truck finally arrives. He said for example, there was a 3 month delay <br /> 9 on fire boots, which isn't something you can just get anywhere. <br /> 10 Chief Jeff Cabe said he was told gear is on a replacement cycle and if they wanted it in <br /> 11 the next year, then they would need to order it now.
