Chapel Hill-Carrboro City <br /> Schools Board of <br /> Education Agenda <br /> Abstract <br /> PURPOSE: To approve budget, grant, and capital project ordinance amendments for Fiscal Year <br /> 2022-23. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> Emergency Services <br /> 1. The Emergency Services Department has received a grant through the North Carolina <br /> Emergency Management's Capacity Building Competitive Grant program for $335,000. <br /> The purpose of the grant is to ensure local emergency management offices are adequately <br /> equipped, trained, and prepared for all hazards and emergencies. These funds will be <br /> utilized to build a mobile command trailer for the Emergency Management Division.
