A <br /> summary of the $276.9 million plan is included as an attachment to this abstract. Copies of the <br /> proposed CIP are available at the following locations: <br /> • Orange County Budget Office, Government Services Center Annex, 208 South Cameron <br /> Street, Hillsborough <br /> • Clerk to the County Commissioners, Government Services Center, 200 South Cameron <br /> Street, Hillsborough <br /> • Orange County Public Library, Whiffed Human Services Center, 300 East Tryon Street, <br /> Hillsborough <br /> • Orange County Public Library Branch, 900 Old Fayetteville Road, Chapel Hill (located inside <br /> of McDougle Middle School) <br /> • Chapel Hill Public Library, 100 Library Drive, Chapel Hill <br /> • Via the Internet at http://www.co.orange.ne.us/budget/index.htm <br /> The Board conducted a public hearing on April 2, 2002 with four individuals making comment. <br /> At that meeting, the Commissioners indicated their desire to conduct a second public hearing <br /> on April 16 in light of the fact that spring break for both the Orange County Schools and the <br /> Chapel Hill Carrboro City Schools ran from April 1 through April 5, 2002. Staff has submitted <br /> requests for the Chapel Hill Herald and the Chapel Hill News to run display ads of the April 16 <br /> public hearing in addition to the press releases provided on the County's web site. <br />
