Some individuals chose moie than one possibility.They are listed below: <br /> + 110 indicated they would be willing to travel 10 miles or less to the site„and <br /> 4 Forty-seven said they would be willing to travel 15 miles <br /> In response to the question about the kind of transpoartation,the majority of the 148, <br /> specifically 110,would drive to the satellite campus,while 12 would need public <br /> ttarsportation,and 19 indicated they had no preference for a mode of won for <br /> accessing a satellite campus. <br /> Focus group participants apressed interest in the fallowing types of classes:computer, <br /> language,ftvign [teacher]ramification rewwal,college transfer,heavy equipment <br /> operation,arts and crafts,health/medical,computer network administration,solar energy, <br /> business,cooking,physiology,coMputw software,English,science,math,nuisiag. <br /> biotechnology,counseling,interior des g%reading,creative writin&senior legal issues, <br /> early childhood.real estate,secreprci4 entrepr'oneurship,veterinary,public gmldn& <br /> Latin American studioi,teaching BSL,ga>teral education,horticulture,parks and <br /> recreation,photography and small engine repair. <br /> Based on the research.the CCTF has reason to believe abonsive services offered at <br /> a Duriszm Tockmical Community College satellite campus in the County will provide for: <br /> more classes <br /> 8 a gr+a W variety of clasa•offerings <br /> �r career and academic eowselirr4g <br /> O academic meat <br /> O academic support services <br /> • computer.laboratories <br /> ♦ registration financial aid counseling <br /> ♦ iibrW resources;etc.;and <br /> ♦ additional in-county community college staff to answer questicas and <br /> guide citizens intuested in improving tbamselves. <br /> Thursday.April 11.2002(4).max <br />
