She <br /> 36 reviewed the agenda and noted that the meeting would not be led by a facilitator and that there <br /> 37 would not be a question and answer time with the police chiefs and Sheriff as indicated on the <br /> 38 agenda. <br /> 39 <br /> 40 <br /> 41 Opening Statements from Chairs and Updates on Opening Schools <br /> 42 a. Orange County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) <br /> 43 Chair Price introduced county commissioners and staff. <br /> 44 Chair Price read a notice from the Emergency Services Director regarding the impending <br /> 45 severe weather resulting from Hurricane Ian. <br /> 46 <br /> 47 b. Orange County Schools (OCS) <br /> 48 Chair Will Atherton introduced fellow school board members and staff, and made a <br /> 49 statement regarding the recent loss of two young people in the community. <br /> 50 <br />
