No action is required at <br /> this time, but should substantial work be <br /> undertaken in contiguous areas, certain <br /> existing conditions may require correction. <br /> ii. Deficiency Categories <br /> Each correction project identified shall be assigned one of the following <br /> categories: <br /> (1) Life-Safety Code Compliance (fire alarm, egress, etc) <br /> (2) Building Code Compliance <br /> (3) Accessibility Code Compliance (ADA & Local Accessibility <br /> Standards) <br /> (4) Building Integrity <br /> (5) Design and Functionality <br /> (6) Educational &Site Adequacy <br /> (7) Appearance <br /> (8) Natural Light <br /> (9) Energy <br /> (10) Environmental: (as provided in Districts-supplied facilities <br /> condition data) <br /> (a) ACBM (asbestos containing building materials) <br /> (b) PCBs <br /> (c) Lead-based paints <br /> (d) CFCs <br /> (e) IAQ(indoor air quality) <br /> (f) Water Quality <br /> The above categories represent sample definitions and may be <br /> revised to meet requirements of the Districts through the initial <br /> stages of the audit process. <br /> iii. Deficiency Classification <br /> Each deficiency shall be classified by the major property components <br /> identified for survey in the field. For example, Design and <br /> Functionality, Site, Exterior Systems, Interior Systems, Interior <br /> Finishes, Health/ Fire/Life Safety Systems, Handicap Accessibility, <br /> Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning, Plumbing, Electrical and <br /> Service Distribution, Special Electrical Systems, Fire Suppression, <br /> Special Construction, or Vertical Transportation. <br /> iv. User Specified Classifications <br /> In addition to the standard categories and classifications available <br /> within the identified software platform the Districts should have the <br /> ability to edit support tables to add the Districts specified classifications <br /> to the above lists. <br /> 5 <br />
