Acknowledgement of receipt <br /> of Orange County's Living Wage Contractor Policy. <br /> • E-Verify: HB789 imposes E-Verify requirements on contractors who enter into certain <br /> contracts with state agencies and local governments.The legislation specifically prohibits <br /> governmental units from entering into certain contracts "unless the contractor and the <br /> contractor's subcontractors comply with the requirements of Article 2 of Chapter 65 of <br /> the General Statues." (Article 2 of Chapter 65 establishes North Carolina's E-Verify <br /> requirements for private employers.) It is important to note that the verification <br /> requirement applies to subcontractors as well as contractors. <br /> • Orange County Non-discrimination Certification Form <br /> • Supplemental Vendor Information: HUB form <br /> V. Selection Process <br /> The evaluation team may include administrators, managers and school staff. <br /> The recommendation of the evaluation team will be subject to a successful contract negotiation (see <br /> Exhibit D for a template services contract for Orange County. If an agreement cannot be finalized,then <br /> the evaluation team reserves the right to negotiate with other qualified firms. The selected firm will <br /> not have the opportunity to be a part of any subsequent construction or bond project management <br /> resulting from this RFQ. <br /> Evaluation of qualifications may include, but is not limited to the following: <br /> a. Proposed methodology to assess and produce optimization plans and facility condition <br /> assessments <br /> b. Past performance on similar projects as indicated by written references from owners <br /> c. Experience and qualifications of personnel assigned to the project(s) <br /> 10 <br />
