This area is <br />within the Transportation Planning Jurisdiction of Chapel Hill, with some involvement by Carrboro <br />Charge: This short-term task force will help suggest short-term improvements and lend support to <br />accelerate long-range improvements noted in the Metropolitan Planning Organization Transportation <br />Improvement Program (MPO-TIP) for the area. Orange County Commissioner Alice M. Gordon has <br />offered to serve on the Task Force, with the stipulation that she does not believe she should serve as <br />the Chair. <br />Composition: <br />Community representative from <br />Carrboro . , , . , .
