Because of Covid, neither were meeting much <br /> this year but I bring that experience as well as a long history of experience such as advocating <br /> for abused and neglected kids, previously working at TABLE as the Family Engagement Director <br /> and serving as a Fellow at Foster America where I worked to scale evidence based <br /> programming nationally. In each of these roles, we often looked at our work through an equity <br /> and justice perspective. <br /> Reasons for wanting to serve on this board: <br /> I would like to be engaged in my community and want to make a difference for all those living in <br /> our community. <br /> Contribution to the diversity of viewpoints on this board: <br /> I grew up in a bicultural home and am a single, Latina mother with two kids in CHCCS. I have <br /> worked white collar corporate jobs and have also been an essential worker in a grocery store. I <br /> am a first generation college graduate.
