She asked what a hoarding task force <br /> is. <br /> Janice Tyler said it is exactly what Commissioner Bedford thinks. She said it is even <br /> more of an issue since the pandemic. She said other communities have done this as well. She <br /> said county staff would work with town staff and other community partners on this. <br /> Commissioner Fowler said this a beautifully laid out and organized plan. She said this is <br /> the perfect example of community planning. She said she appreciates highlighting universal <br /> design, as well as inclusion across ages, race, and ethnicity. She said she is glad to live in a <br /> place that cares this deeply. <br /> Commissioner Hamilton also thanked Janice Tyler for her work. She said this is <br /> applicable to herself and in her work. She said she just went to a hoarding education recently <br /> asked her to include mental health providers in hoarding task force. <br /> Janice Tyler said that mental health workers will absolutely be included and that she has <br /> already reached out to Alliance. <br /> Commissioner Richards said the matrix in the plan is incredible and commended her for <br /> evaluating each element of the past plan. She said to have over one hundred work group <br /> members is very impressive. She said these are the people who need to be included. She <br /> asked how they felt about the community engagement part. <br /> Janice Tyler said she was disappointed there wasn't a good turnout but this was during <br /> the pandemic, so it is not surprising. <br /> Commissioner Greene commended Janice Tyler on her work. <br /> Chair Price she is proud of the work and that she brags about this plan at national <br /> committees. She said she was impressed that this effort is intergenerational. <br /> Janice Tyler said the matrix will be attached to the Advisory Board on Aging meeting <br /> notices quarterly in attempts to hold themselves accountable. <br /> 8.
