�lpmentary Capacity <br /> At the end of the second month of the current school year, elementary capacity in the <br /> individual districts was within the 105 percent. level of service, with a combined <br /> capacity for the two systems of about 92 percent. Membership in the Chapel Hill- <br /> Carrboro School District is less than two percent of the acceptable level of service <br /> allowing for growth of approximately 73 students .at the elementary level. The <br /> opening of Pathways Elementary in December 2000 expanded the Orange County <br /> School District's capacity by 600 students, providing a growth factor of 933 students <br /> at the elementary level before*reaching.the 105 percent level. <br /> Figure 8.
