In 2020, supported by a grant from W omen in Bio, <br />Leandra and one of the board members attended The Racial Equity <br />Institute workshop Phase 1. Leandra went on to attend Phase 2 which <br />focused on organizational structure. In addition, all staff and board <br />members hav e been encouraged to read the book “Caste” by Isabel <br />W ilkerson and to listen to the podcast “Seeing W hite” from Scene on <br />Radio produced by John Biewen at the Center for Documentary <br />Studies.
