How will you <br />evaluate the success <br />of the program? <br />Program and impact ev aluation is a collaborativ e process among <br />HAC staff and board who maintain strong relationships with the <br />artists, schools, families, and neighborhoods that HAC serv es. Polls <br />and surv eys are used to solicit feedback from ev ent participants, <br />donors, v olunteers, and community partners. During planning <br />months, collected data helps to modify and improv e programming for <br />future ev ents. Financial impact is analyzed on a monthly basis with <br />profit and loss reports, and progress towards strategic goals are <br />rev iewed at quarterly board meetings. <br />For this project in particular, HAC will be working closely with W illiam <br />Dav is, sev eral teaching & spoken word artists, and a v aried group of <br />workshop participants. It will be an essential part of the planning <br />process for HAC to receiv e feedback from each of these <br />stakeholders before mov ing forward with the next program. HAC will <br />make any necessary adjustments based on feedback receiv ed and <br />ensure optimum return on inv estment for ev eryone inv olv ed. As <br />most of the goals for this project are related to elev ating more <br />div erse artists and reaching new audiences, HAC will be collecting <br />data to determine how successful the programs are in reaching <br />target audiences. HAC leadership will also ev aluate how these <br />programs mov e the needle or build a road-map for the rev ision and <br />re-launch of the Hillsborough Poet Laureate program. Cultiv ating an <br />engaged audience specific to poetry and spoken word is a key <br />outcome, to ensure the workshops can prov ide a pipeline to the Last <br />Fridays and Poet Laureate programs. <br />PROJECT/PROGRAM <br />BUDGET <br />Please fill out the charts below with your project's expenses and <br />income.
