14 <br /> 2.8.9 Action by Board of County Commissioners <br /> (A) The Board of County Commissioners shall hold a public hearing after the Planning Board <br /> either makes its recommendation or takes no action on the application within 30 days of <br /> its referral. <br /> (B) After the Board of County Commissioners closes the public hearing, the Board of County <br /> Commissioners shall do one of the following: <br /> (1) defer a decision to a later Board of County Commissioners meeting date, or <br /> (2) make a decision. <br /> (C) In making its decision, the Board of County Commissioners shall consider adopted plans, <br /> comments made at the public hearing, the Planning Board's recommendation, and the <br /> Planning Director's recommendation.
