Article 5: U"3 <br /> Section 5.21:Standards for Miscellaneous Uses <br /> (vii) Use of xeriscaping principles. <br /> (e) Stormwater Management <br /> (i) A Stormwater Management Plan (SMP)136 shall be prepared and <br /> reviewed in accordance with the provisions of Section 6.14 of <br /> this Ordinance. <br /> (ii) All drainage structures will be installed and maintained according <br /> to the approved SMP. <br /> (iii) Subdivisions that include Sstormwater CGontrol Mmeasures <br /> (SCMs) shall comply with Section 6.14 of this Ordinance. <br /> (f) Grading and Erosion Control <br /> (i) Plans for grading and erosion control comply with standards <br /> contained in the <br /> MAP-almost current version of the North Carolina Administrative <br /> Code Title 15A Chapter 4: Sedimentation Control, and the most <br /> current version of the North Carolina Erosion and Sediment <br /> Control Planning and Design Manual (NC Erosion Control <br /> Manual). <br /> 137 RAd thig <br /> X68; <br /> (ii) Construction is phased to the extent practical to minimize <br /> disturbance and sedimentation; <br /> (iii) Sediment control measures will be properly installed to filter <br /> sediment from runoff during construction and maintained until <br /> grading is complete and a permanent vegetative cover has been <br /> established and all slopes stabilized; and <br /> (i v) Permanent landscaping, groundcover, mulch, etc. will be <br /> installed as soon as practical after construction activities for each <br /> phase are completed. <br /> (g) Solid Waste Management Plan <br /> A solid waste management plan, submitted as part of the Resources <br /> Management Plan, shall include the method(s) of disposal and recycling <br /> of construction debris. <br /> (h) Irrigation <br /> (i) Irrigation systems for the subdivision and the lots in the <br /> subdivision are designed and can be operated according to a <br /> water conservation plan described in the Resources <br /> Management Plan submitted with the application; <br /> (ii) The Resources Management Plan shall identify the source(s) of <br /> water to be used for irrigation, the volume available for that <br /> purpose, and expected consumption rates. The system design <br /> and plan for operation will be evaluated based on efficiency; and <br /> (iii) Water recycled from stormwater retention ponds or treated <br /> wastewater effluent may be used for irrigation where it is a <br /> legally permitted alternative. <br /> (i) Habitat Maintenance <br /> 136 Consistentuse of"Stormwater Management Plan(SMP)"—NOTE.
