-41 <br />Martin County. The Martin County Board of Commissioners contains five members. <br />There are two residency districts, one with three members and the other with two members. Each <br />voter in the county votes for one commissioner in the two member district and two <br />commissioners in the three member district. This system is used for both the primary and the <br />general election. In the two member district, the two candidates receiving the highest number of <br />votes in the primary are nominated and the two candidates receiving the highest number of votes <br />in the general election are elected. In the three member district, the three candidates receiving the <br />highest number of votes in the primary are norninated and the three candidates receiving the <br />highest number of votes in the general election are elected. <br />Forsyth County. The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners contains seven members <br />There are two districts, one district has two commissioners, the other has four commissioners. <br />The voters of each district nominate candidates in the primary and elect members who reside in <br />the district in the general election. One commissioner is nominated and elected at large.
