Moscow, Russia. From 2,000 seat theatres ov erlooking Manhattan’s <br />skyline, to school cafeterias and libraries, no audience is too large or <br />small. They hav e ov er 70 different shows in rotation cov ering topics <br />like Black History, Social Studies, Classic Literature, Health and <br />W ellness, Holidays, STEM, Div ersity and Inclusion, Bully Prev ention, <br />Cyber Safety and Social-Emotional Learning. The PTA will select age- <br />appropriate performances for students in the fall of 2022. <br />Are you hiring <br />multicultural artists <br />with the requested <br />funds from this <br />grant? <br />Yes <br />For each multicultural <br />artist you intend to <br />hire, please list their <br />name, race, and how <br />much you plan to pay <br />them. <br />Diali Cissokho, Black, $1,000 <br />Donna W ashington, Black, $1,500 <br />Carlotta Santana, Hispanic, $1,875 <br />Bright Star Touring Theatre includes actors of multiple races and <br />background, but information on names/races is not av ailable ($1,680) <br />How will the <br />project/program be <br />publicized and <br />promoted to reach <br />intended <br />participants? <br />Estes Hills parents and students will be contacted with dates and <br />performance descriptions v ia a hard copy flyer (an example is <br />attached to this application) at the beginning of the school year and <br />will be reminded of the performances in periodic school electronic <br />newsletters. <br />How will you <br />evaluate the success <br />of the program? <br />W e are working with the Durham Arts Council for the first time but are <br />confident that we will be directed to high-quality programming. To <br />ev aluate the program, the PTA will collect v erbal feedback from <br />teachers and school administrators, and from students through <br />parents and teachers, as we hav e traditionally done. Additionally, <br />after the 2022-23 performances conclude, we will for the first time <br />distribute an online surv ey to teachers and staff to collect more <br />formal feedback.
