The orchestra's <br />membership reflects the div ersity of the Triangle area, including <br />people of widely-ranging ages and v arious ethnic backgrounds. The <br />group is open to new members without audition. Although the core of <br />the CHP's repertoire comes from European music of the 19th <br />century, programs also include 20th century music, American <br />composers, and contemporary music.
