HAC_Budget_FY22_all_programs_operating.pdf <br />Deficit/Surplus The current deficit for fiscal year 2021-2022 reflects a cashflow lag as <br />Hillsborough Arts Council awaits Q4 funding from multiple granting <br />agencies. Expenditures are also ov erstated this fiscal year due to <br />HAC's release of an incubator program, the Riv er Park Concert, <br />which has outgrown our operations and will no longer be organized <br />through HAC or be a part of our budget. Additionally, the Riv er Parch <br />Arch project was expected to be completed in 2020, but due to <br />challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic, was just completed in <br />March 2022. HAC retained the artist funds for that project until <br />completion, so the deficit includes this ov erdue expense.
