If not, <br />please explain any <br />barriers that have <br />prevented you from <br />receiving this <br />training. <br />HAC has not had the opportunity to undergo Div ersity, Equity, and <br />Inclusion training as an organization. Sev eral members of HAC's <br />Board and Staff hav e undergone DEI training independently, through <br />other work or serv ice opportunities. Barriers that hav e prev ented <br />HAC from receiv ing this training collectiv ely include turnov er, <br />uncertainty about the best av ailable serv ices, and a limited budget <br />for pursuing this training across all board and staff. HAC leadership <br />aspires to dev elop clear policies for ensuring all practices, programs, <br />and serv ices are conducted with DEI in the forefront, as a <br />consideration of ev ery committee and gov erning decision. <br />Accessibility is also an important v alue of HAC and would be a key <br />component of these plans.
