Request Summary W e are requesting a grant for $6750 to assist with FRANK Gallery’s <br />operating costs. Our rent of $1608/ month includes HVAC/trash and <br />water charges by Univ ersity Place. W e also pay Univ ersity Place <br />Management 6% of our monthly net sales. FRANK shows the work of <br />24 member artists and also the work of a wide range of local and <br />regional artists including painters, ceramicists, jewelers, <br />photographers, textile artists and artists working in wood and mixed <br />media. W e use the Gallery as a teaching v enue for our Karen Youth <br />Art Group and as an educational resource for our community as <br />stated in our mission statement. As noted, we are starting to hav e in <br />person ev ents again such as our Coffee with FRANK talks, featured <br />artist talks and exhibition receptions all serv ing to make demands on <br />our utilities and operating costs and on the time of our gallery <br />manager and artists.
