Laughlin <br /> Environmental Services Division <br />DATE: 08-22-22 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: OCSWM North Landfill: Proposal: Monitoring Well Construction 2022 TRC Project No. 507983-02 TRC Companies (formerly Draper Aden Associates) proposes to provide professional environmental services to Orange County Solid Waste Management (OCSWM) pertaining to the construction of two groundwater monitoring wells in connection with the North sanitary landfill, in accordance with an <br />existing Services Agreement between OCSWM and TRC. <br /> <br />Specifically, we propose to provide the following services – <br /> <br />• Project management services, to include: <br /> Field meeting / stake out at proposed on-site well location. <br /> Field meeting / stake out at proposed off-site location at Town of Chapel Hill Transit facility. <br /> Prepare maps/figures showing proposed locations of monitoring wells. <br /> Prepare request for proposals / submit to selected drilling firms. <br /> Conduct pre-proposal site meeting with interested drilling firms. <br /> Evaluate proposals from drilling firms / secure contract for construction of the two monitoring <br />wells. <br /> Prepare Application to Construct the off-site monitoring well / submit to NC-DEQ for review <br />and approval. <br /> Communicate (email, telephone) with OCSWM personnel, NC-DEQ staff, contracted surveyor <br />(Summit) personnel, drilling firm personnel, TRC project personnel to help coordinate and <br />manage various tasks associated with construction of the two monitoring wells. <br /> <br />DocuSign Envelope ID: 367F9155-0B03-4C7F-9EF8-C3E2CE54CD84
