The 10x10 <br />producers also raised stipends for all artists in the anticipation that <br />we would sell a minimum 35% house each performance. W e did not. <br />For next year we will be much more proactiv e in our marketing for the <br />10x10 and are being mindful of production costs. W e underestimated <br />the cost of our staged readings and hav e adjusted for that in our <br />current budget and in this grant application. W e plan to do four <br />staged readings (instead of fiv e) next year and are increasing the <br />budget ov erall to cov er all expenses.
