He said that Orange County is part of the regional <br /> partnership. He said that NC Works Commission recently passed guiding principles on how to <br /> realign workforce development and economic development. He said that the guiding principles <br /> including things like reducing single county work force boards. <br /> Jenny Harris said that when economic development projects come into the state, they <br /> will pull from a 45-mile radius and if a county is not within one of those work force zones, they <br /> are not a part of the conversation.
