Project will, through music and poetry, show how <br />much progress for equality has been made and how much progress <br />remains. Project is currently in progress. The grant would be to pay <br />North Carolina creativ e participants (session musicians, studio <br />engineers, and other creativ es such as Jaki Shelton Green) as <br />follows: <br />Jaki Shelton Green - $500 for reading on new Jaki Shelton Green <br />poem ov er musical composition <br />Nnenna Freelon - $500 for v ocals on composition <br />Charles Chace - $500 for graphic design/layout and mixing <br />Ken Moshesh - $250 for percussion playing on recording <br />Thomas Jackson - $250 for drumming on recording <br />Basic tracks will be finished by end of summer 2022.
