Revised 06/21 <br />3 <br />3. Basic Services <br /> <br />a. Basic Services. The Services to be rendered pursuant to this Agreement are as follows <br />(fully describe services to be provided): The diaper distribution program aims to <br />distribute diapers and related products to low-income families with young children in <br />Orange County. <br />b. The provider will provide up to 50 diapers per child per month (sizes newborn to 5 only) <br />or 30 pull-ups per child per month for up to 150 participants per month. <br />c. Diapers will be picked up at the provider's location by the County for use by participants <br />engaged in Social Services' programming, including, but not limited to, the Community <br />Response Program, the Adolescent Parenting Program, and Child Protective Services. <br />d. As available, the Provider will provide diapers of other sizes, adult incontinence <br />supplies, and feminine hygiene products. <br />e. As available, the Provider's toddler toilet training classes will be open to Social Services' <br />participants. <br />f. The Provider will track percentages of families reporting that receiving diapers allows <br />them to experience the outcomes of: reduced parental stress; increased ability to afford <br />food, pay bills, or purchase other non-food hygiene products; increased child health and <br />happiness; and increased work and childcare attendance. <br />g. The County will reimburse the Provider for administrative costs required to provide the <br />services described in this contract up to the budgetary limits of the contract allotment. <br />Costs include: compensation, rent, utilities, supplies, and equipment. <br /> <br />4. Duration of Services <br /> <br />a. Term. The term of this Agreement shall be from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023. <br /> <br />b. Scheduling of Services. <br />i) The Provider shall schedule and perform its activities in a timely manner. <br /> <br />ii) Should the County determine that the Provider is behind schedule, it may require <br />the Provider to expedite and accelerate its efforts, including providing additional <br />resources and working overtime, as necessary, to perform its services in <br />accordance with the approved project schedule at no additional cost to the <br />County. <br /> <br />iii) The Commencement Date for the Provider's Basic Services shall be July 1, 2022. <br /> <br />5. Compensation <br /> <br />a. Compensation for Basic Services. Compensation for Basic Services shall include all <br />compensation due the Provider from the County for all services satisfactorily (as <br />determined by the County) performed pursuant to this Agreement. The maximum <br />amount payable for Basic Services shall not exceed ten thousand Dollars ($10,000). <br />Payment for satisfactorily performed Basic Services shall become due and payable <br />within thirty (30) days of Provider properly invoicing County.
