<br /> Hereafter called grantor(whether one or more),and Piedmont Electric Membership Corporation,hereafter called grantee:
<br /> Witnesseth:that grantor, for a good and valuable consideration, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,
<br /> does grant and convey unto grantee, its successors and assigns the perpetual right to enter upon lands of
<br /> grantor and erect, construct, reconstruct, operate, patrol, replace, maintain, relocate, add to, modify, remove,
<br /> and use poles, underground and overhead wires, lines, cables, foundations, footings, fixtures, and other
<br /> apparatus and applications for the purposes of transmitting and/or distributing electric power and for commu-
<br /> nication lines of the grantee or any lessee thereof, and the right to keep clear of trees, shrubbery and other
<br /> obstacles located within 6 feet on either side of the center of the line as constructed (the "ease-
<br /> ment area")and to remove any trees and other obstacles located outside of the easement area which may be
<br /> deemed by grantee to be a potential interference or danger to the operation and maintenance of said line or
<br /> system or which may be judged by the grantee to impair public safety by virtue of its proximity to said line or
<br /> system; and to license, permit, or otherwise agree to the joint use or occupancy of the line or system by any
<br /> other person, association or corporation for electrification or communication purposes, with the understanding
<br /> that all facilities installed on grantors land at grantee expense, shall remain the property of grantee, removal
<br /> at the option of grantee. The land of the grantor over which said rights and easement are granted is a part of
<br /> the property described as follows: Orange County owns PIN 9872557302.Grantor at their request allows
<br /> grantee permission to install new underground primary,secondary's and equipment deemed necessary by
<br /> grantee to provide power to new ranger station existing house new amphitheater and any future development
<br /> on said property. Grantor request removal of existing overhead facilities. See exhibit A
<br /> Township, County,State of North Carolina.
<br /> The undersigned covenant that they are the owners of the above described lands and that the said lands are free
<br /> and clear of encumbrances and liens of whatsoever character, with the right to convey the said rights and easements
<br /> and will warrant and defend the title to these rights against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever. In witness
