3 <br /> Appropriated for this project: <br /> Current FY 2022-23 FY 2022-23 FY 2022-23 <br /> Amendment Revised <br /> ARPA Aging Grant Expenses $0 $386,966 $386,966 <br /> Total Costs $0 $386,966 $386,966 <br /> • The Department on Aging has deferred revenue for the following programs: <br /> o Mobility Management Grant — As June 30, 2022, the department has <br /> $63,006 in deferred revenue, for use in FY 2022-23 remaining in the General <br /> Fund, related to the Mobility Management Grant. <br /> o Senior Wellness Program — As of June 30, 2022, the department has <br /> $10,000 in deferred revenue, for use in FY 2022-23, remaining in the Senior <br /> Wellness Annual Grant Fund. <br /> o Nutrition Program — As of June 30, 2022, the department has $57,950 in <br /> deferred revenue, for use in FY 2022-23, remaining in the General Fund, <br /> related to the Nutrition Program. <br /> o COVID-19 Supplemental Nutrition — As of June 30, 2022, $57,265 of <br /> budgeted funding remains in the General Fund, for use through September <br /> 2022, related to the COVID-19 Supplemental Nutrition Program. This <br /> amendment provides for the re-budgeting of the remaining amount to be <br /> 100% reimbursed by Triangle J Council of Governments. <br /> This budget amendment provides for the receipt of these deferred revenues for use <br /> in FY 2022-23. <br /> SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: The following Orange County Social Justice Goal is <br /> applicable to this item: <br /> • GOAL: ENSURE ECONOMIC SELF-SUFFICIENCY <br /> The creation and preservation of infrastructure, policies, programs and funding <br /> necessary for residents to provide shelter, food, clothing and medical care for <br /> themselves and their dependents. <br /> Health <br /> 3. The Department of Health has received additional funding for the following items: <br /> • Care Coordination for Children — The Health Department has received $11,979 <br /> in additional State funding for the Care Management for At Risk Children Program. <br /> The grant period runs through May 31, 2023. The funds will be used for <br /> programmatic materials to support additional clients. <br /> • COVID-19 CARES — The Health Department has received $145 in additional State <br /> funding from a federal pass through grant to support the COVID-19 Pandemic <br /> response. The grant period runs through May 31, 2023. Funding will be used for <br /> COVID-19 testing. <br /> • Enhancing Detection Activities — The Health Department has received $356,189 <br /> in federal pass through grant support from the North Carolina Department of Health <br /> and Human Services to support the COVID-19 pandemic response. Funding will be <br /> used for temporary part time staff to perform surveillance, case follow-up and <br /> provide pandemic related communications to the public. Funding will also be used <br />
