55 <br /> 1 David Stancil said that these are for outdoor facilities and the recreation center <br /> 2 basketball court no longer has a fee. <br /> 3 Chair Price asked about the Efland Cheeks Community Center's $5.00 fee. <br /> 4 David Stancil said 80% of usage or more does not come through rentals and these fees <br /> 5 would apply for events to guarantee access. He gave the example of a group that was going to <br /> 6 host a basketball tournament at Efland Cheeks and they wanted to use the entire court for the <br /> 7 whole day. <br /> 8 Chair Price asked if the fees at the top are for tournaments where they would want to <br /> 9 control the space for four hours or more. <br /> 10 David Stancil said yes it really is used only for events. <br /> 11 Chair Price asked if this is specified online. <br /> 12 David Stancil said he believes there is a sentence online that facilities are first come first <br /> 13 serve, unless a reservation is made. <br /> 14 Commissioner Hamilton asked what the salary package includes for the park coordinator <br /> 15 position. <br /> 16 David Stancil said $39,900 and the total with benefits is $58,000.
