For the most part, counties are responsible <br /> 3 for day-to-day operating costs such as utilities, security and custodial services. Counties are <br /> 4 not responsible for funding of teaching staff. <br /> 5 <br /> 6 Capital Investment Plan — Durham Technical College — Orange County Campus <br /> 7 The Manager Recommended Capital Investment Plan includes funding of$500,000 in FY 2022- <br /> 8 23 and $10,500,000 in FY 2023-24 for an addition to the existing building on the Durham <br /> 9 Technical Community College — Orange County Campus. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 Details regarding recommended funding levels Durham Technical Community College are <br /> 12 located in the Education section of the Manager Recommended Operating Budget document, <br /> 13 beginning on Page 174, and in the School Projects section of the Manager Recommended <br /> 14 Capital Investment Plan document, beginning on Page 126. <br /> 15 <br /> 16 During tonight's work session, the Board will have the opportunity to discuss with Durham <br /> 17 Technical Community College about County funding and anticipated State funding for schools <br /> 18 next year. <br /> 19 <br /> 20 President J.B.
