Other topics identified in the Superintendent's memorandum at Attachment B are <br /> addressed elsewhere on this work session agenda. <br /> a. Master Planning of the Eubanks Road/Old 86 Site <br /> This topic will be touched on under several sub-headings of agenda item #1. Specific interests <br /> of the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Board of Education are expressed in Attachment B. <br /> b. Use of Segal Consultants <br /> As noted in Attachment B, CHCCS have engaged the Robert Segal CPA firm for two projects <br /> related to sales tax. <br /> c. Communications <br /> CHCCS has begun to post Board agendas and supporting documents on their Website, <br /> normally on the Fridays before subsequent Thursday night Board meetings. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no financial impact tied directly to the discussion at this <br /> meeting. However, decisions that may be made by one or more of the elected boards at <br /> subsequent meetings are likely to have significant implications for future capital and operating <br /> budgets. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the boards discuss the issues noted <br /> and provide direction to staff, as appropriate. <br />
