Article 6: Development Standards 103 <br /> Section 6.14:Stormwater Management <br /> (2) Proposed changes shall be prepared by a North Carolina registered professional <br /> engineer or landscape architect (to the extent that the General Statutes-, Chapter <br /> 89A; allows259) and submitted to and reviewed by the Erosion Control Officer. <br /> (3) Planning Director Review260 <br /> (a) If the Planning Director approves the proposed changes, the owning <br /> entity of the SCM shall file sealed copies of the revisions with the Erosion <br /> Control Officer. <br /> (b) If the Planning Director disapproves the proposed changes, the proposal <br /> may be revised and resubmitted as a new proposal. If the proposal has <br /> not been revised and is essentially the same as that already reviewed, it <br /> shall be returned to the applicant. <br /> (C) Revision of Plains Found to be inadequateApproved SCM Operation and <br /> Maintenance Agreement(OMA)261 <br /> If the Gou44Lhe Erosion Control Officer finds that the <br /> OFMaAUa)SCM Operation and Maintenance Agreement (OMA) is inadequate for any <br /> reason262, the owning entity shall be notified by the Erosion Control Officer of any <br /> required changes and shall prepare aAd record�63 spies of thea revised agreemept <br /> OMA with the Orange County Register of Deeds_, <br /> ^^ A4WThe revised OMA shall be submitted to the Erosion Control Officer for <br /> review and approval prior to recordation by the owning entity.264 <br /> 6,14,116.14.12 Stormwater Discharges <br /> (A) Applicability <br /> The regulations contained herein shall be applicable to all new development and existing <br /> projects within tk4R-0ranae265 County's planning jurisdiction. <br /> (B) In General <br /> (1) Orange County herein establishes methods for controlling the introduction of <br /> pollutants into the stormwater collection system or receiving waters. <br /> (2) No person shall discharge or cause to be discharged into the stormwater <br /> collection system or receiving waters any materials, including but not limited to <br /> pollutants or waters containing any pollutants that cause or contribute to a <br /> violation of applicable water quality standards, other than stormwater. <br /> (3) Orange County Planning and Inspections shall collect information related to <br /> stormwater discharges from all applicable sources within its jurisdiction. <br /> (C) Allowable Discharges <br /> The commencement, conduct, or continuance of any illegal discharge to the stormwater <br /> collection system or receiving waters is prohibited. However, the following discharges are <br /> exempt from discharge prohibitions established by this Ordinance provided that they do <br /> not significantly impact water quality: <br /> (1) Waterline flushing, <br /> 219 Text corrections. <br /> 260 Clarification of requi rements. <br /> 261 Clarification ofrequirements-this sub-section had been erroneously titled. <br /> 262 Edit(s)based on Legal Sufficiency Review comments, deleted "due to proposed changes to the SCM". <br /> 263 Edit(s)based on Legal Sufficiency Review comments. <br /> 264 Clarification of requi rements. <br /> 261 Consistent reference to "Orange County". <br /> Orange County, North Carolina- Unified Development Ordinance Page 6-112 <br />
