Program information P a g e 9 of 32 <br />AGENCY INFORMATION <br />Please provide the following information about your agency: <br />1.Date of Incorporation (Month/Year): 12/1978 <br />2.Agency’s Purpose/Mission (no more than a few sentences): Our mission is to stop sexual violence and its <br />impact through support, education, and advocacy. We envision a world free from sexual violence and all <br />other forms of oppression. <br />3.Please provide a brief description of your organization’s past achievements in carrying out similar <br />projects and evidence of successful record of meeting proposed budgets and timetables (no more than <br />100 words). <br />The OCRCC has provided crisis intervention for survivors of sexual violence since 1974. Both qualitative <br />and quantitative data show the high success level of our client services. Launched in 1982, our <br />Community Education program is one of the longest-standing in the country, and we have enjoyed a <br />close relationship with local school districts. The OCRCC has been in receipt of Human Services funding <br />since 2004 and has maintained a stellar record of service delivery within provided timeframes and <br />budgets. The agency devotes administrative staff time to maintaining compliance with all budgetary and <br />programmatic regulations related to our grants. <br />4.Living Wage: Does this agency pay permanent employees a minimum living wage? Yes <br />If no, please briefly explain. <br /> Schedule of Positions: # of FTE – Full-Time Paid Positions: 15 # of FTE – Part-Time Paid Positions: 9 <br />NEW THIS YEAR <br />Consistent with our commitment to equity and inclusion, the Towns of Chapel Hill and Carrboro and <br />Orange County Government are taking steps together to center racial equity in the Human Services <br />Funding Program. Over the course of the next year, the Towns and County will conduct a comprehensive <br />racial-equity analysis of the program and we are requesting basic information about your organization’s <br />racial equity work. <br />a.Please describe how you have involved the intended beneficiaries of the proposed project <br />in the planning and design process (in 100 words or less). <br />All staff of the agency identify as survivors or secondary survivors of sexual violence; as such, our planning, <br />program development, and implementation efforts are entirely survivor-led and imagined. In addition to our <br />commitment to supporting staff survivors, the agency regularly solicits feedback from program stakeholders <br />through satisfaction surveys and during programs.
