Agency’s Purpose/Mission (no more than a few sentences): <br /> <br />TABLE delivers healthy food and nutrition education to children ages 1-18 in Chapel Hill, <br />Carrboro, and Orange County communities. <br /> <br />3. Please provide a brief description of your organization’s past achievements in <br />carrying out similar projects and evidence of successful record of meeting <br />proposed budgets and timetables (no more than 100 words). <br /> <br />Since its founding, TABLE has had a successful history of surpassing our goals. From 12 <br />children served in 2008 to 730+ in 2021-22, we continue to grow, accommodate changing <br />needs, and meet gaps in our community. Some of our greatest accomplishments include <br />adapting operations during a pandemic and closed school, sourcing nutritious food when <br />stocks were low, partnering with local farms to source organic p roduce, and raising <br />necessary funds to improve operations and begin identifying a new, permanent space. <br />Experienced staff, a solid volunteer and generous donor base give TABLE a highly <br />favorable outlook headed into 2022-23. <br /> <br />4.
