As new schools are built to meet <br /> the growing student population in our community, PreK/Head Start classrooms will <br /> be advocated for as part of the new facilities. <br /> Recently, Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools received state funding to serve 20 <br /> children and families eligible for the North Carolina PreK initiative, More At Four. <br /> These spaces will not require additional classrooms because existing vacancies <br /> will be converted to More At Four spaces and some students will meet multiple <br /> eligibility criteria and can be enrolled in existing slots. <br />
