Tempia, ext. 2579 <br /> Resolution <br /> TELEPHONE NUMBERS: <br /> Hillsborough 732-8181 <br /> Chapel Hill 968-4501 <br /> Durham 688-7331 <br /> Mebane (336)227-2031 <br /> PURPOSE: To hear and take action on a resolution to form a Comprehensive Plan Land Use <br /> Committee (CPLUC). <br /> BACKGROUND: On November, 2001 and February 2002, the BOCC received information <br /> regarding the Comprehensive Plan research, analysis and development. <br /> The next step in the process is to begin committee work using existing board membership <br /> perspectives and set up a course for public outreach in late Spring and Summer of this year. The <br /> attached memo further elaborates. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: None at this time. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board discuss and approve the <br /> attached Resolution and/or amendments thereto. <br />
