52 <br /> 2.18.2 Application Requirements <br /> (A) An application for a L and DisturbiR. Dorn,;+an LDP shall be filed with the Erosion Control <br /> Officer on forms provided by the Planning Department. <br /> (B) An Erosion and Sedimentation Control Plans26 must be approved prior to issuance of a <br /> Land Disturbing Permi+an LDP. <br /> 2.18.3 Exemptions <br /> AnN-9 permit LDP is not required for the following activities: <br /> (A) For the purpose of fighting fires. <br /> (B) For the stock piling of raw or processed sand, stone, or gravel in material processing <br /> plants and storage yards, provided that sediment control measures have been utilized to <br /> protect against off-site damage. <br /> (C) For disturbanGes Land-Disturbing Activities that do not exceed 20,000 square feet in <br /> surface area, or 10,000 square feet if within the University Lake, Cane Creek, or Upper <br /> Eno Watersheds. In determining the area, lands under one or diverse ownership being <br /> developed as a unit shall be aggregated. <br /> (q(D) For Land-Disturbing Activity exclusions as defined in Section 6.15.4 of this Ordinance.27 <br /> 2.18.4 Erosion and Sedimentation Control Plan Required <br /> An Erosion and Sedimentation Control Plan must be submitted to the Erosion Control Officer <br /> when the proposed Iand dirt ur"a^^ Land-Disturbing Activity is greater than 20,000 square feet, <br /> or greater than 10,000 square feet if within the University Lake, Cane Creek, or Upper Eno <br /> Watersheds. <br /> 2.18.5 Expiration of PermItsLDPs <br /> (A) Erosion and Sedimentation Control Plan <br /> The Erosion Control Officer may establish an expiration date for Erosion and <br /> Sedimentation Control Plans associated with an approved LDP28approved under this <br /> Ordinance. Erosion and Sedimentation Control Plans associated with an approved <br /> LDPAppFevafs shall expire three (3)years29'8 MGRths after the LDP approval dates <br /> unless the land d;^+ r";^^Land-Disturbinq Activity is started as defined in (C) below. <br /> (B) Land Disturbing Permits LDPs <br /> (1) An LDP Land Disturbing Dear,;+must be obtained before beginning the <br /> d;s+,��a,ba^ceLand-Disturbinq Activity and may be obtained at any time as long as <br /> the associated Erosion and Sedimentation Control Plan Appre,4al-approva130_is <br /> valid. <br /> 2e"Erosion Control Plan" replaced with "Erosion and Sedimentation Control Plan"as defined in 15A NCAC <br /> 02H.1002 (Definitions)—NOTE.
