Article 6: Development Standards 126 <br /> Section 6.15: Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Contro1266F <br /> (NC Erosion Control Manual)275 Copies of the Manual a available from the Er smen <br /> f`Antrnl n„ mpmA, Af the GraRge GE) my Planning & InspeGtions Dep rf. ent 276 <br /> (B) Revisions to t#e Orange County Erosion Control27 Standards <br /> Corrections, revisions, and amendments to the Soil Erosion and Sediment Control <br /> Manua!Orange County erosion control standards278 shall be made upon recommendation <br /> of the Erosion Control Office r_-and-approval by the Planning Director, and approval by <br /> the279 Orange County Board of Commissioners. <br /> (C) Consistency Between Ordinance and Orange County Erosion Control280 Standards <br /> Nothing in this Section shall be construed to allow approval of a--ph-+Rgn LDP which is <br /> inconsistent with the mandatory standards set forth in Section 6.15.7(B) of this Ordinance <br /> or any other provision of this Ordinance. <br /> 6.15.4 Exclusions <br /> The regulations established within this Section shall not apply to the following land---disturbing <br /> activities: <br /> (A) Agriculture <br /> Activities, including the production and activities relating or incidental to the production of <br /> crops, grains, fruits, vegetables, ornamental and flowering plants, dairy, livestock, poultry, <br /> and all other forms of agriculture281 undertaken on agricultural land for the production of <br /> plants and animals useful to man, including, but not limited to: <br /> (1) Forages and sod crops, grains and feed crops, tobacco, cotton and peanuts,; <br /> (2) Dairy animals and dairy products; <br /> (3) Poultry and poultry products; <br /> (4) Livestock, including beef cattle, llamas, sheep, swine, horses, ponies, mules or <br /> goats, including the breeding and grazing of any or all such animals; <br /> (5) Bees and apiary products,;a-Rd <br /> (6) Fur producing animals, and <br /> (6)(7) Mulch, ornamental plants, and other horticultural products.
