Summit Design and Engineering Services 17 <br />3 –EXPERIENCE AND PAST PERFORMANCE <br />May 9,2019 <br />RE:Summit Design and Engineering Services <br />UNC CH Media and Communication Center Project <br />To whom it may concern: <br />Summit Design and Engineering Services was the 3rd Party Special Inspections firm we worked <br />with on the new Athletics Media Center project in Chapel Hill.Summit’s Engineers were <br />instrumental and provided a hands on approach during installation of deep foundations.Also, <br />Summit’s timely communication with both myself,our superintendent,and the design team <br />during construction of the other foundation elements and superstructure assisted us greatly with <br />implementing field modifications and keeping the project moving forward.As the General <br />Contractor on this project this communication was paramount in allowing us to keep our project <br />on schedule.Summit’s lead inspector was very knowledgeable and assisted our superintendent <br />and subcontractors with walking pre-pour inspections.Reports with items requiring corrective <br />actions were sent out each day to the project team,which allowed our team to present the <br />designers with corresponding RFI’s. <br />We look forward to the opportunity to work with Summit on future projects. <br />Respectfully, <br />Jeremy Higgins <br />Project Manager <br />Frank L.Blum Construction Company <br />Provide (3) Reference letters from ONE of the projects listed in your experience.
