COMMUNICATION AND QA/QC <br />Providing qualified staff is only the first step to <br />ensuring “Client Satisfaction”.It must be followed <br />with consistent communication and availability for <br />your clients and your contractors.We achieve this <br />through industry-leading responsiveness.Summit has <br />over 100 certified inspectors living across the state to <br />service the various geographic regions in North <br />Carolina.We commit to servicing this contract with <br />inspectors who live locally in the Triangle,and we <br />commit to having an exceptional response time to <br />any project need.Our consistent and effective <br />response on each project sets the standard for <br />communication as we focus on assigning the most <br />local,qualified staff to each project.At Summit,our <br />project leaders touch base with Clients and Inspectors <br />often to ensure our team is meeting and exceeding <br />expectations.This occurs on a regular basis <br />throughout the duration of a project.This constant <br />communication with the Client allows us to gain <br />advanced notice of any additional training or <br />certifications which may be required.This type of <br />communication with the Client is a part of Summit’s <br />culture and inherently provides quality assurance for <br />our CMT and Special Inspections program. <br />Summit Design and Engineering Services 5 <br />COMMUNICATION, AVAILABILITY & RESPONSIVENESS <br />Our project management team to serve for the duration <br />of this project will include Steve Fenton,PE,MSI,and <br />Jeff Elliott,PE.Jeff will provide support as needed; <br />however,Steve will oversee all the various <br />administrative functions such as attending regular site <br />meetings,review of daily field reports,review of field <br />data,laboratory data,and communicating the <br />following with project team personnel and owner: <br />•The results of our field testing and inspections for <br />each day will be summarized in a daily field report, <br />with all results being communicated daily with all <br />County,Design Team,and Construction Team <br />members. <br />•Non-conforming items (discrepancy)that are not <br />corrected on the same date that they are initially <br />observed,will be communicated to the project <br />team immediately in an individual discrepancy <br />notice and an updated discrepancy resolution log. <br />•Scheduling conflicts due to contractor error,work <br />cancellations upon Summit’s arrival,re-testing and <br />non-compliance testing,and contractor’s <br />convenience testing will be tracked throughout the <br />project and reported to the owner for appropriate <br />back charges to the contractor. <br />•The results of concrete,grout and mortar <br />compressive strength testing will be available <br />electronically to the project team within 24 hours <br />of the test being performed.Test results will be <br />available through e-mail. <br />PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND CLIENT MANAGEMENT <br />2 –PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY PROJECT PERSONNEL EXPERIENCE <br />DocuSign Envelope ID: 86DCBF93-1313-40D4-B4EA-5885A3D5CEDB
