Summit Design and Engineering Services 2 <br />Summit Design and Engineering Services, PLLC, located at 320 Executive Court in Hillsborough, NC, was <br />originally founded in 1997 under the name of Callemyn-Parker, Inc., when CEO Jim Parker, PE, PLS and land <br />surveyor, Alois Callemyn, combined their resources.Operating as Summit since 2004 and with founder Jim Parker <br />still as our CEO, we have cultivated our expertise to expand what we can offer to our clients. Additional principals, <br />officers, and directors of the firm include our President Troy Dover, PE, Chief Financial Officer Scott Ashton, CPA, <br />Senior Vice Presidents Rick Leone and Philip Becht, and our NC Branch Manager Patrick Cummings, PE. We now <br />have almost 400 staff but remain a compact architectural and engineering firm structured to adapt quickly and offer <br />clients the most current technology, innovative design solutions, and comprehensive project management for turn- <br />key delivery. We know that one size rarely fits all. That’s why we look at the individual needs of every project and <br />match it with our proven technical expertise and experience. With our progressive capabilities, we now provide a <br />comprehensive list of services. We invest in our projects from their beginning design through construction. We have <br />expanded geographically to meet our clients where they are located, from our single Hillsborough, North Carolina <br />office to branch offices in Raleigh, Charlotte, Asheville, Fayetteville, Pittsboro, and Wilmington in North Carolina, <br />Fort Mill, in South Carolina, St. Petersburg in Florida, and Richmond, Franklin and South Boston, in Virginia. <br />2 –PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY PROJECT PERSONNEL EXPERIENCE <br />ACEC Engineering Excellence Awards in 2015 and 2020 <br />Summit received these awards for the Town of Hillsborough Riverwalk project and the <br />Churton Street Access Improvement. We provided several services for both projects, including <br />Construction Materials Testing and Special Inspections. <br />We pride ourselves on these awards because they <br />represent the dedication and passion our <br />employees bring to work every day. <br />Summit has our corporate office in Hillsborough, <br />NC including our accredited lab!
