DocuSign Envelope ID : 0571DBE7-OB79-4A80 -A5CE -2D7E8B8A9B33 <br /> NORTH CAROLINA <br /> CONTRACT AMENDMENT <br /> ORANGE COUNTY <br /> THIS CONTRACT AMENDMENT ("Amendment") is made and entered into this _ 1st day of May , <br /> 2022_ by and between ORANGE COUNTY (hereinafter referred to as " County") and New River Tire Recycling, Inc . <br /> (hereinafter referred to as " Provider") . <br /> WITNESSETH . <br /> THAT WHEREAS , the County and Provider entered into a contract dated June 1 , 2017 , (hereinafter the " Original <br /> Agreement") , for the recycling of scrap tires ; and <br /> WHEREAS , the County and Provider desire to amend the Original Agreement while keeping in effect all terms and <br /> conditions of the Original Agreement not inconsistent with the terms and conditions set forth below . <br /> NOW THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the mutual covenants and agreements made herein, the parties agree to <br /> amend the Original Agreement as follows : <br /> 1 . Section 3 ii is amended to reflect the information contained in Attachment A hereto . <br /> 2 . Section 4a is amended to reflect a term of May 1 , 2022 to Apri130 2024 . <br /> 3 . Section 5 is amended to reflect a maximum payable not-to -exceed amount of $ 250 , 000 per year . <br /> 4 . Except for the changes made herein, the Original Agreement shall remain in full force and effect to the extent <br /> it is not inconsistent with this Amendment .
