Submit manufacturer information on drains, CPVC or cast iron piping, elbows, connections and <br />accessories. <br /> <br />B. Submit shop drawings for pipe routes and connections. <br /> <br /> <br />PART 2 PRODUCTS <br /> <br />2.01 ACCEPTABLE MANUFACTURERS <br /> <br />A. Josam Manufacturing Company; Zurn Industries, and JR Smith. <br /> <br />B. Substitutions: Items of the same function and performance are acceptable in accordance with Section <br />016000. <br /> <br />2.02 MATERIALS – ROOF DRAIN AND PIPE REPLACEMENT <br /> <br />A. Roof Drains: Shall be similar or approved equal to Zurn Z100 coated cast iron roof drain, having <br />large cast iron locking dome, and steel deck clamp. Sizes shall be 3″. <br /> <br />B. Overflow Drains: Shall be similar or approved equal to Zurn Z108 coated cast iron roof drain and <br />steel deck clamp. Size shall be 4″. <br /> <br />C. Drainage Pipe: Pipe shall be CPVC wrapped with fire rated insulation or Cast Iron. Provide straight <br />pipe, elbows/sweeps, fittings, etc. as needed. Size as noted on the drawings. <br /> <br />D. Pipe Hangers: Shall consist of a steel clevis, beam clamp and continuous threaded 3/8" diameter <br />rod. <br /> <br />E. Pipe Strap Fasteners: Shall be 1/4" stainless steel hex head sleeve anchors such as 304SS as <br />manufactured by Hilti. <br /> <br />F. Pipe Clamps: Shall be similar to B3148 Offset Pipe Clamp manufactured by Cooper. Clamps are <br />to be painted to match the existing wall color. <br /> <br />G. Pipe insulation shall be fiberglass insulation with a vapor retarder facing. All new pipes shall be <br />insulated unless otherwise approved by the Designer. <br /> <br />H. Overflow Discharge Nozzle: Shall be bronze with a wall flange similar to 1770 as manufactured by <br />J.R. Smith. <br /> <br />I. Structural Steel: Shall conform to ASTM A-36 and the American Institute of Steel Construction <br />(AISC). <br /> <br />J.
